I do have a certain emotional attachment to these bowls. The first time I had seen the Chinese enamel dishes was oddly enough in Brazil. You can find them in almost any housewares shop, or even grocery store. My husband's family has always used them as they were always widely available in the small towns and were desirable and affordable especially to families with children, or clumsy women like myself !! I never had to worry about breaking dishes at his house...what a relief. I have fallen smitten with the bold colorful happy graphics which are stenciled onto the white enamel. Cheers to simplicity and cheerful motifs. I should have brought back a set...! Buyers regret hurts! In any case, Enjoy!
