I'm on a roll today after hanging out at the library all morning...here is something else on my palette of blogging today......
Little Golden Books! We all know and love them. They've been in our bookshelves since childhood, begging to be opened and loved again. And they still can be appreciated for their simple stories and AMAZING old illustrations (some). I just recently stumbled upon stacks of them at a flea market and regret not buying them! Buyers regret is such a sad tale. But in tight economic times hoarding Little Golden Books in my closet can't be smart!!!. In any case, I've decided to start a collection, eventually...not only as reading material for my kids but to add to my little growing art collection of vintage book imagery. How awesome are these?? Enjoy!
